Why the Machined Areas Decide the Project
A gearbox housing may have a complex casting shape, but the decisive areas are usually the bearing seats, mounting surfaces, threaded holes, oil passages, and assembly datums. We check these areas before tooling because they affect machining allowance and inspection.
