Where Pump Housing Projects Usually Go Wrong
Late machining planning can expose porosity, insufficient allowance, unstable sealing faces, or unclear threaded areas. We review the drawing around ports, cover faces, bolt holes, sealing areas, and any pressure-related surfaces before confirming the route.
Casting Route and Machining Allowance
Depending on size, material, quantity, and working condition, the part may be reviewed for sand casting, gravity casting, or another practical casting route. CNC machining points normally include sealing faces, connection ports, threaded holes, bearing or shaft areas, and datum surfaces.
