A receiver housing may look small, but the drawing can hide important risks. We review wall thickness, ribs, bosses, hole position, mounting faces, and any sealing or cover area before quotation. If weight is important, the casting process and machining allowance should be discussed together.
Casting and CNC Machining Review
The quotation review focuses on alloy choice, casting feasibility, machining allowance, datum selection, hole drilling, threads, flatness, and burr control. For assembly parts, we also check whether critical surfaces can be inspected clearly after machining.

Send the 2D drawing, 3D model if available, material requirement, expected quantity, machined areas, tolerance notes, and any assembly or surface finish requirement. Photos of an existing housing can also help us understand the application before a formal quote.
