Casting Processes

Choosing a casting process affects tooling cost, sample timing, surface condition, machining allowance, and production cost.

We usually start from the drawing and the way the part will be used. Then we review which process is practical for the material, quantity, size, and post-casting work.

Processes We Commonly Review

Die castingFor repeat aluminum production, housings, covers, brackets, and lightweight industrial parts.
Sand castingFor larger parts, thicker walls, machinery bases, pump housings, valve bodies, and medium or lower quantities.
Gravity castingFor aluminum and alloy parts needing stable filling and controlled performance.
Machining after castingFor holes, threads, sealing surfaces, mounting faces, and assembly dimensions.
